Meet Dr. Smith
Dr. David J. Smith was born and raised in Central California. After
completing high school he proceeded to Salt Lake City where he earned his
bachelors degree from the University of Utah. He again moved East to attend
dental school at the State University of New York at Buffalo where he
graduated cum laude. Once he earned his Doctorate in Dentistry he was
fortunate to pursue his dream job of being an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
when he was accepted into a residency program in New Haven, Connecticut. At
the Hospital of St. Raphael and Yale New Haven Hospital he received
comprehensive training in facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, general
anesthesia, dentoalveolar surgery, surgical implant placement, and bone
grafting. He also was able to take part in specialized training in Oral and
Maxillofacial Pathology at the Long Island Jewish Hospital in New Hyde Park,
NY. He and his family are excited to be back West in California and be part
of such a wonderful community.
