Office Protocol Updates for Patient Safety

Our Office and COVID-19

We here at San Luis Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Implant Center are available for your needs and are following the most up-to-date guidelines from the CDC, CDA, and ADA. Our goal is to keep you and all of our team members safe — so we want to share our appreciation for your flexibility and understanding during this time.

As an Oral Surgery Center, we pride ourselves on exhibiting the highest standards in sanitization. However, we are taking some advanced safety protocols throughout the office. Next time you visit us, here are some of the safety measures you can expect to see, among many others.

-Screening of patients when scheduling appointments and upon arrival. Patients who are exhibiting symptoms, have recently travelled to or from high risk areas, and other factors will be asked to reschedule.

– Fewer people in the waiting room at any time. If someone other than the patient is responsible for transportation, they will be encouraged to wait outside.

– One Entrance, One Exit to control traffic flow.

– Masks required in the waiting room and throughout the office.

– Staff PPE (masks, gloves, caps, gowns, etc) that follows CDA, ADA, OSHA, and CDC recommendations
